The first annual Ottawa Singles Event was a success: over 600 Ottawa singles were in attendance, some matches were made, and over $10,000 was raised for the MS Society of Canada! Thank you to all!

It is my grand pleasure to invite you to
Ottawa’s social event of the year on September 25, 2009 starting at 8pm and
lasting until midnight (upon which time your horses and carriage will revert to
its original mice and pumpkin forms). For one night only, Ottawa’s most
beautiful singles will be in one room looking to mingle while enjoying great
music, great food and best off all cocktails!
If the prospect of beautiful singles, booze, and food is not enough to entice
you, then perhaps it is worth noting that every twenty minutes the host will
reward randomly drawn individuals with fantastic prizes! Perhaps you are
worried that you will actually have to engage a member of the opposite sex in
conversation? Well don’t worry, leave the ice-breakers to us as our host will
suggest some light ice-breakers that will entice even the shyest person to
approach someone new! It’s all about getting Ottawa’s single community to come
out and get down to meeting new people, for fun, and maybe… for love?
Even if you aren’t a fan of small talk/networking/ice breakers, it still
promises to be a fun Friday night at the Crowne Plaza hotel–a room full of
well-dressed people looking to have a great time, a DJ spinning funky beats,
cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and fantastic door prizes.
Most importantly, 100% of the profits are going directly to the MS Society. So
come out and enjoy yourself all while supporting a great cause! Who knows,
maybe you’ll even meet “the one”.
